Leon "Sonny" Wise, Jr., 70, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, August 26, 1939, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville.

Mr. Wise worked as a truck driver for L&M Furniture and Darts.

He is preceded in death by:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Jack Kurrelmeyer officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
