Dr. Marvin L. Cox of Belleville, Illinois, born in St Louis, MO, died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at his residence in Belleville, IL.

Dr. Cox was a retired counselor and instructor for Belleville Area College. He was a member of the East Lodge #504 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine and was a U.S. WWII Army veteran.

He is preceded in death by:

Visitation: Friends may call from 3-6 P.M., Sunday, April 5, 2009 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, April 6, 2009 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Ed Weston officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL
